Home Energy Efficiency Course Begins Monday In Mamaroneck

The Larchmont and Mamaroneck Center for Continuing Education will host a class on making homes more energy-efficient beginning Monday, Oct. 20. Classes will also be held at Mamaroneck High School on Oct. 27 and Nov. 3 from 7-9 p.m. Homeowners will learn how to make their homes environmentally responsible and energy-efficient while saving money. The class covers an overview of green construction, renovation, remodeling, and energy retrofitting, including what every owner should know when hiring a professional contractor.
