The Larchmont-Mamaroneck Local Summit will discuss the importance of the STEM education in Mamaroneck schools, at the group's next meeting scheduled for Feb. 10. STEM stands for Science Technology Engineering and Math, and the community has a very active STEM Alliance organization that hosts events throughout the year. The Feb. 10 discussion will feature Dr. Robert Shaps Superintendent of Mamaroneck Schools, and Margaret Kaufer, Chairperson of the STEM Alliance of Larchmont-Mamaroneck.
