Mamaroneck Mother Pleads Guilty to 2012 Murder of Son

On Thursday, the Westchester DA says, Manuela Morgad , 48, of 1035 East Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck pled guilty to murdering her son, Jake Reich. On October 1st, 2012, at approximately 10:43 am, Mamaroneck Village police responded to the apartment building and found Morgado in her bedroom in a semi-conscious state with an unresponsive four old child, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
