The #SelmaForStudents effort has come to Westchester County and starting Friday, Jan. 16 and continuing through Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday, Jan. 19, seventh-, eighth- and ninth-grade students can see the movie Selma for free. The limited, free admission program is being led by a team of African-American business leaders in New York, with organizations across the U.S. coordinating a massive national campaign to find African-American business leaders to underwrite free admission to the film Selma for students around the country, according to SelmaStudentTickets.com.
