Up to 3a 3 Rain Predicted for Mamaroneck, Larchmont, Sound Shore Area

"Basically, starting Wednesday, through Thursday, it is predicted that the Village and the Westchester County Sound Shore area can expect between 1.25" and 3" of rainfall," writes Village Manager Richard Slingerland in an email to residents. The Village of Mamaroneck typically anticipates the possibility of flooding, depending on prior rainfall, ground saturation, or icing conditions at or above 4" of rainfall, or 4.5" of rainfall, within a 24-hour time frame.
