Mamaroneck Field Hockey Wins Section 1 Class A Championship

Mamaroneck Field Hockey won its second straight Section 1 Class A championship at Brewster high school Thursday night, defeating Mahopac 7-0 in convincing fashion. The Tigers, who will face Section 9's Kingston in the New York State regional championship on Saturday at 1 p.m., controlled the tempo from the opening whistle, scoring just one minute into the game.
