The Village of Mamaroneck Fire Department will collect toys through Dec. 17 to benefit Blythedale and Marie Fareri Children's hospitals as well as Toys for Tots. The fire department also will collect toys at the village of Mamaroneck tree lighting, set for 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 7 at the Stephen E. Johnston Beach Pavillion in Harbor Island Park.
