Mamaroneck, Larchmont Get Involved In Recognizing 'Hour Of Code'

In recognition of the growing importance of coding as a fundamental 21st century skill, the Villages of Larchmont and Mamaroneck and the Town of Mamaroneck are authoring resolutions recognizing the "Hour of Code: Computer Science Education Week" from Monday, Dec. 8 to Sunday, Dec. 14. Across the community in schools and at libraries thousands of youth will be participating in the "Hour of Code" -- the world's largest learning event in history, promoted by Code.org . The event's goal is to have 100 million youth worldwide spend at least one hour learning how to code.
