A Mamaroneck mother was sentenced to 20 years to life today for murder in the smothering death of her 4-year-old son in 2012. Westchester County District Attorney Janet DiFiore announced that Manuela Morgado, 48, of 1035 East Boston Post Road, was sentenced to state prison on her guilty plea in September on one court of second-degree murder.
