Hundreds Flock To Winter Farmers Market In Mamaroneck

MAMARONECK, N.Y. Mamaroneck rang in the New Year with a taste of summer over the weekend, as hundreds came out to support farm-to-table cooking at the first Down to Earth Winter Farmers Market of the season Saturday. Tables carrying everything from fresh fish and produce to pickled vegetables, bread and "champagne tea" lined the auditorium floor of St. Thomas Episcopal Church as eager shoppers perused goods and enjoyed the indoor market while being serenaded by cover band Deuces Child.
