Complexities Slow Down Move to Dissolve Town of Rye

Rye Neck, which is mostly located in Village of Mamaroneck, is considered part of the Town of Rye with Port Chester and Rye Brook, but what would happen to Rye Neck without the town is a bit of mystery. The Journal News reports that Port Chester and Rye Brook would become independent without the Town of Rye essentially acting as a parent.
