Mamaroneck School District Faces Bias Suit

MAMARONECK, N.Y. A local construction company has sued the Mamaroneck school district, alleging officials wrongfully terminated their contract due to being biased against the Islamic religion of the owner and its employees, according to lohud.com. A $20 million federal lawsuit filed by A-1 Construction & Renovation, based in Brooklyn and owned by Rana Usmani, alleges school officials used profanity, racial, and ethnic slurs, lohud.com reported.
