Mamaroneck Schools Host STEM Initiatives Summit

The Mamaroneck School District hosted a local summit to discuss new science, technology, engineering and math initiatives on Feb. 10. Margaret Kufer, president and founding member of the STEM Alliance of Larchmont-Mamaroneck, began the meeting by discussing STEM initiatives and their importance in the education curriculum. STEM initiatives seek to increase curiosity, employability, job growth and social equality.
