Mamaroneck's Muratore Named New England Collegiate's Rookie Of The Week

Tom Muratore, a Mamaroneck resident and freshman at Lesley University in Cambridge, Mass., has been named New England Collegiate Conference Rookie of the Week this week following a two-hit shutout in a win over Newbury College Muratore's performance was just the second complete-game shutout recorded in program history while his two hits allowed tied the record for least hits allowed in a game.
