The Fourth Annual Oxalosis and Hyperoxaluria Foundation Summer Gala will be held at The Inn at New Hyde Park on Thursday, June 4, from 7-11 p.m. This year's distinguished honorees receiving the "Stone Crusher of the Year" award are Dr. Frederick Kaskel of Mamaroneck and Peter Ruggiero of Cold Spring. The OHF is the only foundation in the world dedicated to improving the care and treatment and finding a cure for Oxalosis, Primary Hyperoxaluria and related kidney stone diseases.
