Mamaroneck residents interested in learning more about the benefits of installing solar energy panels can get detailed information about costs, savings, government incentives, and group purchasing options at the Solarize Larchmont-Mamaroneck Workshop, to be held Wednesday, March 4, 2015 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Mamaroneck Public Library, 136 Prospect Avenue. Solarize Larchmont-Mamaroneck is an outgrowth of Solarize Westchester, a countywide effort to help residents take advantage of a unique discount buying program that uses a tiered-pricing structure, town/village-supported education and outreach, and one competitively selected installer to dramatically reduce the cost of solar.
